Hey Wipeouts!

It is official, we have put our 2nd week of practice behind us and the weather cooperated!  A couple of announcements/reminders:

- REMINDER: If you have not been sized and paid for your swimsuit, today is the cut off date.  Please make sure you make it to D&J Sports today by 4:00 PM.  This cutoff date should allow for our swimsuits to be ready for time trials.  The address for D&J Sports is 11407 Spring Cypress Rd, Tomball, TX 77377

- Spread the word to your friends, families, and co-workers...Next Saturday from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm is our Dairy Queen Fundraiser/Car wash.  A portion of the sales for the entire day comes back to the Wipeouts.  Bring the family for lunch to get your car washed or to help wash some cars.  The kids always seem to have a good time washing the cars (especially the coach's truck!).  This is a great time and is a very big fundraiser for the swim team.

- We have settled on a date for the Pack Seminar that was scheduled for the week of May 2nd.  The PACK seminar will be Wednesday, May 3rd.  PACK seminar is an opportunity for our swimmers to get some coaching from PACK and provide some techniques to help improve our swimmers.  Ages 7-10 will be from 5:00 PM - 5:45 PM.  11 and up swimmers will be from 5:45 PM - 6:45 PM.  We will have practice for our 6 and under swimmers from 6:45 PM - 7:30 PM.  These times are for this night only.

- From Coach Ethan: thank you to all our swimmers for the hard work so far.  We have posted three (3)  helpful videos on the home page of the Wipeouts to help with turns, backstroke and common mistakes in the freestyle stroke.  Feel free to check these out with your swimmers.

- More information coming soon but we will be having a Swim-A-Thon on Wednesday, May 24th.  Mark your calendars!
