We need YOU! (open board positions)
Hey Parents,
As you know we have a few board positions (listed below) that will need to be filled at the end of this season. These open positions will be filled by people who've shown interest in holding a position and have spoken to a current board member. After a person has been assigned to a position the board will vote, then the new board will be presented to the team as a whole at the end of season banquet on June 27, if there are no objections at that time, the board will be set for the 2019-20 swim season.
The board meets 2-3 times between the months of July-December/January. Starting in January/February and throughout the swim season the board meets once a month -usually on a weekday evening or sometimes on a Sunday afternoon. The weeks between the last meet and banquet, the board meets once a week. Each position is a two-year commitment.
Open Positions: Secretary, Volunteer Coordinator, Merchandise Coordinator, Equipment Manager, Activities Coordinator (this can be a two-person position) - Attached is a list of responsibilities for each position.
