Hey Wipeouts!

It is hard to believe but we put our last dual meet and last mid-season invitational behind us this weekend. It was a great weekend with the win versus Kleinwood and then some great individual results at Pentathalon including our Pentathlete, BrodyJohnson, who won overall swimmer for his age group. We also managed to break even more team records at the dual meet and Pentathalon. The meet results have been updated for Summer Thunder, Kleinwood Dual meet and Pentathalon under meet results. The team records have been updated through Pentathalon as well. So now what...lots going still going on...

- Morning practices continue this week. Friday morning practices times will remain the same but we will have the head coach for Spring HS working with our swimmers in a stroke and turn seminar.

- Divisional meet is scheduled for June 22 at Cy-Fair Natatorium. All parents need to confirm attendance by 8 PM on Monday, June 17th. We can not stress how important it will be to have every available swimmer there as this WILL BE A VERY CLOSE MEET! Also, as discussed in the parent meeting, every family is expected to volunteer at the Divisional meet. There will be more information coming on this as well as the potential to donate items for this meet as we have been given the responsibility for taking care of concessions for the entire meet. This will also involve lots of volunteer positions and opportunities.

- Divisional Rally will be held on Friday June 21st. See Facebook as there are two times available for Toy Story 4 with a poll that closes tonight. We will go with the majority after tonight as we will purchase tickets and pretty much buy out the theater for the swim team. Tickets will be $6 each. We will have the vehicle decorating that day as well. More information to follow.

- All post season invitational meets are open for sign up. These timelines and deadlines are the night of our Divisional meet. It is critical that everyone go in, declare your swimmer and signup for the invitational. The team pays for entry fees to Post season invitationals. ANY ATHLETE NOT SIGNED UP BY THE DEADLINE WILL NOT SWIM IN A POST SEASON INVITATIONAL AS THERE WILL BE NO EXTENSIONS ON THE DEADLINE. You can go in and sign up your athlete any time and it will highlight the events they qualified for. We highly encourage everyone to go ahead and sign up for the post season invitational if you already know which one you would like to attend (Red White and Blue, All Stars and Ponderosa). THE TEAM ONLY PAYS FOR ONE POST SEASON INVITATIONAL. Please keep this mind especially since the post season invitationals are spread apart this year.

- The RSVP for banquet is open for everyone. We are working out the details for costs for the non-swimmers. The location will be at Spring Baptist Church Klein Campus. More information to follow on this. Banquet is set for June 27th.
