Hey Wipeouts!

- The start time for the meet tomorrow is 8:30 AM. Arrival time for all swimmers should be no later than 6:30 AM for an 8:30 AM start. This allows us enough time to check in and circle in our swimmers. Swimmers will check in with the coaches to show that they are present. We will have a volunteer who will circle in the swimmers and list their events on their arms. Swimmers will be in the pool for warm-ups at 7:45 AM. PLEASE DO NOT WAIT TILL RIGHT BEFORE THIS AS WE HAVE CHECK IN THE SWIMMERS AND HAVE SCRATCHES DONE SO WE CAN START THE MEET ON TIME!

- Pool information is Champions Park Swimming Pool, 13635 Champions Park Dr, Houston, TX 77069. The neighborhood is very close to the intersection of FM 1960 and Cutten.  Parking is side of street parking only along Belinda Ct and Walton Heat Dr. We will be set up outside the fence in the grass area outside the pool.

- Please make sure that your family and swimmers are ready to go. Please remember to bring sunscreen, bug spray, water, snacks, goggles, towels and something to wear over your swimsuit. Also, make sure you bring a pop up tent (or coordinate with another family), tarp or ground cloth (optional but it helps) and chairs. REMEMBER TO BRING YOUR BIG OR LITTLE BUDDY STUFF WITH YOU FOR THE TRADE OFFS!

- Volunteers will check in at our volunteer check in station. If you are signed up for set up, please arrive no later than 6:15 AM.

- Please be prepared to stay for the entire meet. If you are not able to make the meet tomorrow, please email us at [email protected] or use the Coaches Corner contact us form on the web site. If you plan on leaving before the meet ends, please check out with Coach Emma (This is very important for relays and events).

- Please keep track of your swimmers tomorrow and make sure we are paying attention to announcements for events or if your swimmer is called. We must get our swimmers to the Ready Bench quickly and on time when their group is called in order to keep the meet moving quickly.

- Information has been sent out in regards to Summer Thunder and sign up has to be done by 8PM tomorrow night. There will be extensions for this invitational as it has to be turned in on Sunday. If you do not sign up by 8PM tomorrow night, your swimmer will not swim at Summer Thunder!

- We can not wait to see everyone tomorrow morning for our second official meet! Remember to make sure your swimmers have a good dinner, appropriate breakfast and have fun while bringing their ‘A’ game and most importantly...
