Hey Wipeouts!

It turned out to be a beautiful evening on Friday and a beautiful morning on Saturday! Now that Time Trials are officially behind us, we have to start preparing for our first dual meet this Saturday at Lakewood Forest. We will be monitoring the weather all week as rain and storms are forecasted during this week. We will keep you posted. Keep in mind that we will practice and have a meet with just rain.

Please remember that if you would like to add money or set up your concessions account this can be done via Venmo or you can pay with cash on Tuesdays only! Concessions are available during practice times.

We have added a file o the home page to make it simpler to see how to sign up your swimmers for Dual/Divisional Meets as well as Invitational Meets. Please note that the deadline to sign up for dual meets/divisional meets is the Tuesday evening before the meet. This means that you need to let us know if you will or will not be attending the meet this Saturday (5/11) by tomorrow evening (5/7). If you do not log in and declare your swimmer, they will default to they WILL be attending the Dual meet. We can not stress how important this is in order to perform the meet merge with the other team on Wednesday or Thursday. The more accurate this is, the easier it is the morning of the meet.

We will be sending out more information on our first Invitational meet -Tomball Splash Depot (to be held at Tomball ISD Natatorium on May 19^th) later this week. We have included instructions on the front page of the web site. The deadline for signing up for this invitational is May 12^th. The invitational information can be found under the event where a file is located with the information. Please note that our deadline is before the deadline on the flyer as we have to have all swimmers go in and select attending (if they are attending) and then pay the fees per event and allow the Board time to pull the report and deliver the paperwork and money before the deadline that is listed on the informational flyer. PLEASE NOTE THAT UNLESS YOU GO IN AND SELECT YOUR SWIMMER IS ATTENDING FOR INVITATIONAL MEETS AND PAY THE DUES, your swimmer will not be registered and the Wipeouts will not be responsible for trying to register and pay for a swimmer to enter late. The responsibility will fall on the PARENT if they do not go on the web site and sign their swimmer up and pay the associated fees for Invitational meets by the deadline listed on the event and in the calendar!

We have uploaded the files for our away meet this Saturday with the Informational flyer and map for parking for Lakewood Forest. The files are attached to the event. We will send out more information this week. Also, do not forget that we have our Rally Night on Friday night. We will have Pizza, drinks and fun for our swimmers as we get ready for our first official meet of the season the following morning!
