Hey Wipeouts!

Please have your swimmers bring a change of clothes or workout clothes over their swimsuits.  The pool temperature keeps fluctuating along with the weather.  At this time and for the at least the near future, we have to look at outside temperature (and what it feels like) and the pool temperature per session.  We apologize for any frustration with the practices but we are at the mercy of the Houston weather.  Today, we tried the 15 and ups but it was too cold for them (We checked the temperature this afternoon and the pool was at 73 degrees but the outside temperature felt warm. However, the wind created a colder feel in the water). If the water and temperature are too cold for our older swimmers who are used to colder high school pools, this means it would definitely be too cold for our younger swimmers.

We will be constantly checking the temperature of the pool along with what it feels like outside for each session.  

Again, we apologize for the short notice and in and out of pool conditions.  Please have your swimmers prepared for drylands or swimming until further notice.
