Hey Wipeouts!

As of now, we are at 135 swimmers. Our largest group at this point is our 7-8 year old group. If registration were to close today, this is the group that will be split into two practices in lieu of our 6 and under group. 

We could use some help in our 13-14 Year Boys and our 15 and Up Women if you know of anyone. Our last registration will be this Sunday, March 24th, which will also be a Car Wash/Spirit Day at Dairy Queen. This is also the cut off date for registration. Any registration after March 24th will be considered a late registration and a late fee of $25.00 per swimmer will be added to the swimmer registration dues.

Drum roll....the long awaited merchandise will be available through a link the middle of next week that will be provided under merchandise where you will be able to purchase t-shirts, shorts, flannel pants, hoodies bags, car decals.  In addition, we have added the link to a google sheet for ordering hats!

At this time, only the car wash and mandatory parent night are open for volunteering sign up. The board decided to close the volunteering sign up until after the parent night. This will allow new and returning parents the same opportunities for volunteer spots. We have added quite a few volunteering opportunities as well in order help the team and to fulfill your volunteer hours. We will discuss all the volunteering positions at the parent night. At 9:00 PM on April 3rd, the volunteering sign up will open up.

If you or your family are interested in sponsoring the Wipeouts, please contact us. We have put the sponsor form on the main page of the web site on the right side. Feel free to print these and pass them out to friends or businesses that you may frequent (restaurants, doctors, nail salons, haircuts, dentists, orthodontists). 

Parents, the board voted and decided to implement an incentive system for sponsorship solicitation:

$1,000 Sponsor (Medley) = Free registration for your first swimmer

$750 Sponsor (Butterfly) = 1/2 off first swimmer registration

$500 Sponsor (Breaststroke) = $40 off first swimmer registration

$250 Sponsor (Backstroke) = $20 Credit to be used towards merchandise or concessions

$100 Sponsor (Freestyle) = $10 Credit to be used  toward merchandise or concessions

Deadline for sponsors is April 19th.  This is needed in order to ensure that we can get the sponsors on the back of our shirts. If you have already registered a refund will be issued for the amount of the incentive.

On April 13th, we will be holding our first annual Wipeouts Crawfish boil at the Inverness Estates clubhouse parking lot.  We will offering crawfish with corn, taters and drink, hot dogs and BBQ.  Make sure you come check it out, pick up to go or hang out with us!

Swim suits can be fitted and purchased at D&J Sports near SH249 and Spring Cypress. They look great and we hope everyone is as excited as the Board to offer these suits. . In addition to Fins for 7 and ups, Coach Emma has requested that all swimmers 9 and Up purchase or bring a pull buoy to practice (please make sure you check out our Facebook page where parents can swap/sell or barter for fins among each other).
