Hey Wipeouts!

As many of you may have already heard today, we are trying something different this year for time trials.  We have to ensure that we are out of the pool for the opening day for the neighborhood by 10:30 AM on Saturday.  Therefore, we are going to have time trials for the 6 and unders on Friday night beginning at 6:30 PM.  This should take about 1-1.5 hours to complete.  The rest of the team will have time trials on Saturday morning.  We will begin Time Trials on Saturday at 7:30 AM.  More information to follow as this means that warm-ups and everything will be finished before the actual start of 7:30 AM (This will push everything up 1 hour earlier than usual).  More information will be sent out tomorrow for the meet timeline for Saturday.  Now a couple of items in regards to time trials and other items:

- We will need all 6 and under parents to help volunteer on Friday night for timing and scribes to help this met run smoothly. 

7-18 Year olds will have an optional practice starting at 5:15 on Friday that will last up to warm-ups for 6 and under at 6:10 PM.  The older swimmers are highly encouraged to stick around and support our younger swimmers!

- Please do not forget the change in practice times for tomorrow for the PACK seminar:

* 7-10 year olds are at 5:00 PM

* 11 and ups are at 6:00 PM

* 6 and under and Level 1 7-8 year olds will have optional practice at 7:00 PM

- There will be no relays for time trials as this meet is to gain seed times for the swimmers.  All swimmers will swim every event in order to get times

- Some of the fins were handed out today so please be sure and mark your swimmers first and last name on the fins.  Also, Coach Emma wanted us to remind all swimmers to stay hydrated and bring water or sports drinks to practices and meets!

- Swimsuits, caps, t-shirts and all other merchandise will be arriving on Friday so we will have it during practice time and during the meet.  This shipping overnight tomorrow for Friday morning delivery.

- Concessions and merchandise will be available during Time Trials (Friday and Saturday)

- Just a reminder that we practice and still keep going with meets in the event of rain.  We only stop practice or meets for lighting, thunder or really severe rain.
